I LOVE THIS SHOT, it tells such a story and there is so much going on in it

Holy Web Stats

WOW! not sure if this is some kind of fluke or not because I'm surely not a web designer, but these stats are unreal. click on the image and look at the HUGE spike in web traffic to my site in May. There was so much traffic to my site, it crashed for a whole day. Unexplainable I guess.

Cheryl and Morgan in Anguilla

As promised, here are a few highlights from Anguilla

Shots of scenic Anguilla

A nice catch of the bride and groom in the CuisinArt Resort lobby

This was surely one of the most scenic locations for a ceremony I have ever seen

These island wedings all require the bride and groom to actually sign the marriage contract right after the ceremony

We decided to do all the "formal" portraits at this Anguilla wedding with the reception guests wandering in the background

Friday

"Petal"...my bartender

Petal has been my "bartender" this weekend in Anguilla. Bartender is in "qoutes" because I'm not exactly getting shnickered here or anything, but I have been spending alot of time at the bar because it has internet access. I'm sitting here right now posting to my blog actually. Go me...it's my birthday. So Petal and I have been having long conversations about how much Anguilla has changed due to tourism, and the positive and negative affects of it. It's been very iteresting. Anguillians speak mainly engilsh so communication isn't a problem at all. However, it's been so much fun listening to Petal, the other bartenders, and other resort employees talk to each other. They speak to tourists in perfect english, but when they speak to each other, you can barely understand them, if you can understand them at all. They're speaking english, but they have their own dialect. It's been a running joke at the bar that I have been eve's dropping on them because they know I'm interested in their culture. Good times. So here's a shot of Petal and I taken by some guy in the bar that I grabbed and put to work. This may be the last time I post in Anguilla, I have to meet Cheryl and Morgan for their portrait session before the ceremony (yes...before) and from then on it will be a flurry of photography. HEY!....that could be a cool slogan for my business...."Brad Walters Photography....A Flurry of Photography". Yeeeeaaaah......perhaps not. Stay tuned for highlights of Cheryl and Morgan's wedding on the island of Anguilla.

ANGUILLA

Anguilla is truly one of the last true exotic islands. I was surprised to see such a difference between Anguilla and the Bahamas. Although the Bahamas is beautiful, it's allot like many parts of Florida. Anguilla on the other hand, is truly exotic. I can walk down the beach for half a mile and see noone. The water is so bright, you can see right through it at times. Last night, I waited until dark to go swimming. I just stood there in the ocean for about 20 minutes and looked around. It takes something fairly amazing for me to stand still for 20 minutes. From my side of the island, I could see St. Martin island across the water. Hopefully I'll end up there one day. When Morgan (the Groom) introduced me last night at the rehearsal dinner, he claimed I had the best job in the world. I would have to agree with that, but had to mention that I haven't been home in almost 2 1/2 months. Sarah met me in the Bahamas last week though, so that was awesome. I get to go home May 29th!!! Here's a screen shot from the Cuisinart Resort website here in Anguilla. If you click on the green text above (the post title) it will take you to the resort's website. Below that, is an image I took last night at Cheryl and Morgan's rehearsal dinner right outside the resort on the beach.

Wednesday

Off to Anguilla

So......while I'm sitting in the airport, my nemesis Tommy Neel sent me this photo of himself. What is he doing? you don't wanna know.

Tuesday

Eboni and Anthony in the Bahamas

Eboni and Anthony were married on the Grand Bahamas Island at the Our Lucaya Resort. Sarah and I were touched at how Eboni, Anthony and their families welcomed us into their families so warmly. I've had numerous people tell me how good looking they both are. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Oliver from Maryland.
