BichVan and Giai - a Vietnamese Wedding

Sarah and I are celebrating our first Colorado Wedding! Special thanks to BichVan and Giai for being our first Colorado clients. We were so excited about how fast our business name got around in Colorado. As a photographer, it's very difficult to pick up and move to another state, because noone knows your there, until you build a client base. So we are thankful that we really haven't had much trouble transplanting our business to Colorado. We are so glad we moved here! It's an amazing place to live and we have no regrets at all. So to celebrate, we are showcasing an extra long blog post of Bichvan and Giai's Viatnamese wedding.

So darn cute

I love this shot although I admit I set it up. Downstairs is the beggining of a Viatnamese ceremony. The Groom's parents and family just arrived and are being introduced to the Bride's parents and giving speaches. I don't know what is exactly being said because it was in Viatnamese, but I asked Bichvan to stand by the door of the room she was in to get this shot. The Groom can be seen downstairs. He has not see his bride yet.

BichVan and Giai's wedding was full of Viatnamese ceremonies like this Tea Ceremony. All of them have special meaning.

The Recpetion hall was a photographer's dream

This was precious. The kids sang a song to Jesus in the middle of the ceremony. I cried. There I said it.

That's one serious Videographer eh?

How cute are these little girls?

Stay tuned for more Colorado weddings!
