The Wedding Photojournalist Association's 1st Quarter wedding photography contest.

For those of you loyal blog watchers who don't know what the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) is, it's an international group of some of the world's best wedding photojournalists. Admission into the WPJA is a highly sought after goal in the wedding photography industry because of the quality of photographers in the association. Every quarter they hold a contest wherein the members from all around the world submit images from the current year to be judged by working photojournalists. Simply placing in one of these contests is a major achievement considering the caliber of photographer we are competing against all around the world. Well, the results for the 1st quarter contest just came out, and I placed 5th in the details category. I'm pretty jazzed at the moment. Check out the screen shot from the WPJA site.
