......touching the shutter

Yesterday, we did our first Colorado engagment session with Joanne and John, and I had forgotten how awesome it is to touch the shutter, and hear that familiar "click". It was like coming home after being on vacation for 3 weeks. We met at the Garden of the Gods, one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Althought the name of the park gives me the gibblies, the park is incredible. Special thanks to Charlotte and Mike from Charlotte Geary Photography here in The Springs for the referral.

IT'S GOOD TO HAVE FAMILY

Sarah and I recently drove up to Windsor for a small family get together at my cousin's house. It great to have family near us. Here's a few shots from our trip. YES, all of the elk photos are real, even the close up shots. Those animals are breathtaking. The close up shots are of an elk eating from a bird feeder on the front porch of a lodge front office. If you look closely, you can the lodge front desk lady in the background. She apparently didn't think much of her half ton frined on her porch. Notice the shot of the sign that says "register your pets" hee hee

Doug, Theresa, Anita, Judy, Diane, Kara, and Kyle (hey cuz), we love you guys! I look forward to bombing down some slopes with you.

Apparently we get a free ad in a bridal magazine after participating in local bridal show, so I decided to have a little fun. MORE FUN!

WE'RE HERE!

Sarah and I made it to Colorado! We absolutely love it here. It has snowed so much since we've been here. I sent out a mass email to everyone I could possibly think of, telling the story of our 4 day trek across the country. I'm sure I forgot a few people though. Sorry! Sarah and I went to our first Bridal Festival here today. It was a huge success. We had so many future brides come to our booth! Thank you! and we met a couple of very nice photographers as well. I will post more Colorado images soon. We miss you all back in Florida!.....but we're never coming back, at least not to live. I'll be back plenty of times in 07 to shoot Florida weddings.
